About me and my practice

My approach includes working with metaphors, helping you understand how to regulate your breathing and your nervous system and guided imagery as well as exploring thought patterns and offering psychoeducation, these are just some of the ways my clients have been supported with issues including anxiety, depression, life altering medical diagnosis and those who have experienced complex trauma, domestic violence and sexual abuse.

I work from the Dragonfly wellbeing centre in Mannamead seeing both private clients and those who access counselling through Pegasus men's wellbeing centre, who specialise in complex trauma, this is where my passion is, helping survivors of abuse rebuild their lives.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work face to face with clients , offering both long and short term work. I have a diploma in integrative counselling, trauma informed coaching, mindfulness and i am currently undertaking additional training to enhance my practice. I also hold a enhanced DBS.
